Liz is the Director and Principal of RGA Business and Tax Accountants, having purchased the practice from Robert Goodman in July 2017.
Liz is a Chartered Accountant and registered tax agent and her qualifications include a Masters in International Taxation, Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning and a Bachelor of Commerce. She is also a Tax Institute Chartered Tax Advisor, Certified Results Coach and a Mindshop Advisor.
Liz has 30 years experience in in advising a range of small to medium sized clients in all facets of taxation and business development.
She is a big believer in assisting her clients to achieve better, stronger businesses and achieve their goals. She is passionate about helping her clients achieve financial stability, growth and success and is driven by a genuine desire to make a difference. She is motivated by the opportunity to empower individuals and businesses to help them navigate complex financial landscapes and achieve their goals.
In her spare time, Liz is a keen gardener and sewist and enjoys time with her family.
Robert founded Robert Goodman Accountants around 1992. Robert sold his practice in July 2017 to Liz Gibbs and continued on as Senior Consultant until April 2018, when he retired to spend time with his family and pursue his many hobbies.
With the responsibility that comes with having your name on the door, Robert always made a point to ensure every single client receives the best possible care and quality of service.
Robert has now retired and wishes to thank all his clients for their support over the years. He has been honoured to serve the community for over 25 years.
The practice changed its name from Robert Goodman Accountants to RGA Business and Tax Accountants in 2022.
Our external independent highly qualified SMSF team look after our SMSF administration. Between them, Michael and Nadine have an SMSF specialisation, tax agent registration, and a swag of post graduate qualifications and memberships with professional organisations.
We streamline all aspects of SMSF administration, delivering a truly automated and highly cost effective solution. Our cloud-based SMSF accounting software enables a wide range of users (including accountants, administrators, financial advisers and auditors) to manage all their SMSF administration and reporting needs from a single system – everything from set up to lodgement.
We also have an external independent auditor to manage the audit of our funds.
Our Senior Client Manager Jordan is hands-on helping clients and rarely without a smile. He is passionate about seeing our clients succeed and always welcomes a chat.
Jordan has a Bachelor of Business with Distinction from the Queensland University of Technology, majoring in Finance and Accountancy. He has also previously completed a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from the Queensland University of Technology. He has an eye for attention to detail and a positive can-do attitude. Jordan has a passion for capital gains tax across all asset classes, from property to cryptocurrency.
Outside of work, Jordan enjoys playing golf with friends and taking his dog for long walks.
Amber
Senior Accountant
Amber is a Chartered Accountant with experience in assisting Small to Medium businesses and individuals with their tax affairs. She is passionate about improving clients’ outcome and achieving wealth creation through giving quality tax minimisation and business structuring advice. She is well versed on various cloud-based accounting software, such as Xero, and offers accounting system advice to improve accounting procedures.

She has extensive experience as an accountant and is known for her friendly and helpful manner and is a highly valued team member. Maria holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
In her spare time Maria enjoys looking after her family, listening to music, video editing, photography, and cooking.
Cindy
Office Manager
We are excited to introduce Cindy as our new Office Manager.
Cindy will oversee office operations and provide support to our accounting team to enhance business efficiency and workflow. With a strong commitment to customer service, she enjoys building rapport with both staff and clients. Feel free to reach out for a chat when you call or visit the office.
Outside of work, Cindy is a mum of two and a proud owner of three lively sausage dogs. As an artist, she loves to blend creativity with family life and finds inspiration in the everyday moments spent with her family and furry friends.
Rowena plays an important role in the accounting and administration teams.
She has extensive experience in various Accounting and Bookkeeping roles and is known for her friendly and helpful manner and is a highly valued team member. Rowena holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
In her spare time Rowena enjoys looking after her family, cooking, baking brownies and cookies and gardening as well as providing assistance to pre-school children living in the mountain area of her Day Care Centre.
Joy plays a key role in the administration team.
She has extensive experience in various Accounting and Bookkeeping roles and is known for her friendly and helpful manner and is a highly valued team member. Joy holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
